The Story
Found along the continental shelf of the North Pacific Ocean and Bering Sea, Pacific Halibut are large bottom-dwelling flat fish. Their name comes from haly (holy) and butt (flat fish) because they are commonly eaten during Catholic holy-days. Their diamond-shaped body is typically three times longer than it is wide. What a catch!
